William J. Scherman has specialized in New Jersey Workers' Compensation Law for more than 35 years. At Brandon J. Broderick, Attorney at Law, William brings his expertise and experience to the firm helping clients who have been injured at work through an accident or illness. William ensures his clients’ best interests are met and goes above-and-beyond to secure the best possible outcome.
A New Jersey native, William went to Queens College of CUNY with a year off to study abroad, majoring in English Writing, Literature, and History. He attended college at night while studying full time at a yeshiva during the day. He followed that with a Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University.
He is also a member of CERT – the Civilian Emergency Response Team – in Passaic County and an active member of Chaveirim, a civilian volunteer help organization. With a passion for fighting for the underdog, he also volunteers as a CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocate – for foster children in Essex County.
